What MemberRead is

MemberRead is a Chrome extension for Skool community owners. It is not made by Skool, and Skool has not reviewed or approved it.

What it reads

MemberRead reads the Skool pages you already have open in your browser. That means posts and comments your members already published in your community, and DM threads you can already see. It does not read anything you could not already see yourself.

What it stores

• Member names and profile info visible on your Skool pages
• Tone profiles and dossiers built from their public posts and comments
• Your license key, to check that it is valid

Everything is stored in the extension's local storage in your browser. We do not keep your members' data on our servers.

What gets sent where

• When you ask it to build or update a member dossier, the dossier text is sent to Groq's API using YOUR OWN Groq API key. You bring your own key, and the text goes directly from your browser to Groq. Nothing is sent to Groq unless you trigger a dossier build or update yourself.
• Your license key is checked against our license server when you enter it.

What it never does

• It never sends messages or replies on its own. Ever.
• It never reads pages you do not have open.
• It never sends your members' data to anyone except Groq, and only when you ask it to build a dossier using your own API key.

Your members' choice

If a member does not want to be included, they are left out of the list and off the app entirely. Have them tell you and you leave them out.

Deleting data

There is no per-member delete button. To remove everything the extension holds, clear the extension's storage in your browser settings or uninstall the extension. That wipes it all.
