SkoolTrack Privacy Policy
What SkoolTrack is
SkoolTrack is a Chrome extension for Skool members. It helps you track your communities, course progress, events, commitments, and payments across the Skool communities you belong to. It is not made by Skool, and Skool has not reviewed or approved it.
What it reads
SkoolTrack reads the Skool pages you already have open in your browser. That means community lists, course pages, and event details you can already see yourself. It does not read anything you could not already see yourself.
What it stores
- The communities you belong to, read from your Skool sidebar
- Your course progress, commitments, and payment records you enter or that it reads from pages you have open
- Your notification preferences
- Your license key, to check that it is valid
Everything is stored in the extension's local storage in your browser. We do not keep your data on our servers.
What gets sent where
- When you use the sidekick feature, your message is sent to Groq's API using YOUR OWN Groq API key. You bring your own key, and the text goes directly from your browser to Groq. Nothing is sent to Groq unless you use the sidekick yourself.
- Your license key is checked against our license server when you enter it.
What it never does
- It never reads pages you do not have open.
- It never sends your data to anyone except Groq, and only when you use the sidekick using your own API key.
- Browser notifications only fire if you turn them on.
Deleting data
To remove everything the extension holds, clear the extension's storage in your browser settings or uninstall the extension. That wipes it all.
